Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord: Prayer for London, England
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6. As evening settles over the United Kingdom, Proverbs 3:5–6 becomes one of the most searched and shared verses across the world — especially in times of national uncertainty. Tonight we lift London, England, a global city that influences culture, finance, government, education and generations of families. This 6 p.m. prayer moves Day 2 into its national intercessory focus: TRUSTING GOD TO DIRECT THE PATH OF A NATION. From Westminster to the East End, from South London to the city’s heart, we declare that Christ is sovereign over London. London carries both beauty and burden — opportunity and pressure, diversity and division, deep history and deep need. Millions walk its streets daily searching for direction, hope and clarity. Proverbs 3:5–6 speaks directly into the complexity of a city like London: “Submit it all to God, and He will make the path straight.” The Holy Spirit calls London back to trust, back to righteousness, back to His guiding hand. London belongs to the Lord, and every street, borough and household can encounter His peace, justice and presence. Lord, we pray for London, England, and we also lift neighbouring regions across the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Belgium.
Bring peace to homes, righteousness to leadership, renewal to churches and unity across communities. Guide London’s institutions — education, NHS, policing, government, families and businesses — with the wisdom of heaven.
Let revival rise from this city and influence nations Pray for safety and protection across the city.
- Ask God to strengthen churches and ministries in London.

- Ask for hope for those battling loneliness and isolation.
- Pray for righteousness in government and policy-making.
- Ask God to break cycles of violence and fear.
