Philippians 4:6 — Jesus, Quiet My Anxious Thoughts in the Deep Night and Fill My Heart With Your Peace Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As we pray together across the globe throughout the day, stay connected, return often, and let us continue this journey of prayer together. Philippians 4:6 (NIV) says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Psalm 91 reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Even in the deep hours of the night, God’s presence surrounds us and His peace is available to every heart that calls on Him. Lord Jesus, in this quiet hour of the night, we bring before You every anxious thought and every burden that tries to disturb our peace. You see the concerns that rise when the world is silent and our minds begin to wander. Help us release every worry into Your hands. Where fear tries to grow, bring calm. Where our hearts feel unsettled, let Your peace settle over us. Guard our minds tonight and remind us that You are present in every moment. Even when we cannot see the way forward, You are guiding our lives. Jesús, trae Tu paz a nuestros corazones y calma nuestras preocupaciones esta noche. Jesus, traz a Tua paz aos nossos corações e acalma as nossas preocupações nesta noite. Lord, thank You that we can bring every concern to You. As the night continues, let Your peace remain with us and carry us safely into the new day.
