Philippians 4:13 — Jesus, Strengthen Me to Finish This Day Well
strength • endurance • perseverance Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As this day begins to draw toward its close, and the weight of it is felt, we pause and find our strength again in Christ. Philippians 4:13 (NIV) says: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Psalm 121 reminds us that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Lord Jesus, as we come to the later part of this day, we lean on You. Where we feel tired, strengthen us. Where we feel stretched, sustain us. Where we feel worn, renew us. Give us what we need to finish well. Help us to carry what is left with grace and steadiness. Let Your strength rise within us. Jesus, You are our strength. Jesús, danos fuerza para terminar bien este día. Jesus, dá-nos força para terminar bem este dia.
