Matthew 6:9 — Jesus, Calm My Mind Tonight and Lift My Eyes Back to Your Holy Name - From London to Copenhagen, Vienna, Zagreb, Tallinn, and Dublin, this 3 a.m. devotional reaches countless people across Europe and the world who are battling night anxiety, racing thoughts, dread, and the inability to quiet the mind when darkness feels overwhelming. Matthew 6:9 (NIV): “Hallowed be your name.” Psalm 46:10 (NIV): “Be still, and know that I am God…” Jesus, in these shadowed hours where the mind becomes loud and fear tries to rise, I bring You the exact long-tail cries being searched across Europe and the world tonight: night anxiety prayer, can’t sleep because of fear, Jesus calm my thoughts, prayer for overthinking at night, fear of tomorrow prayer, intrusive thoughts won’t stop, why do I panic at night, help me breathe when anxiety spikes, prayer for peace over my mind, Jesus quiet my fear. You see every trembling heart. You hear every silent cry. You know every battle happening behind closed doors in bedrooms, hospital rooms, and lonely apartments. Jesus, let Your holy name interrupt every storm inside me. When fear swirls, lift my eyes from the problem to Your presence. When thoughts run wild, let Your stillness break through. When dread whispers of tomorrow, remind me that You already stand in my tomorrow with peace prepared for me. When the darkness exaggerates every fear, shine Your light into my mind. When anxiety squeezes my chest, breathe Your peace over me. When the world feels unsafe, be my refuge and my grounding place. Let Your name—holy, mighty, unshaken—pull me out of panic and into worship. Let the sound of Your presence steady my breathing. Let the truth of who You are dismantle every lie that keeps me awake. Let Your peace become the atmosphere of this room, the rhythm of my heart, the rest of my spirit.

I declare tonight: Jesus is greater than my fear. His name is stronger than my anxiety. My mind will rest under His peace. I will sleep knowing God is with me and God is for me.
