Evil is real—but so is victory. When Jesus taught “Deliver us from the evil one,” He was declaring divine protection over every generation. Around the world, people face fear, oppression, violence, and spiritual attack. Yet this prayer reminds us that God’s power is greater than every darkness.
Deliverance is not a word of fear but of freedom. It means that Christ has already broken the hold of the enemy. Through the cross, every curse, addiction, and lie loses its authority. Wherever His name is lifted, evil must flee.
As nations wrestle with uncertainty and conflict, believers are called to stand in the victory of Christ. This prayer is a shield—a daily declaration that the Lord reigns and His angels surround His people. When we cry, “Deliver us,” heaven answers with strength, peace, and divine intervention.
Let this final line of the Lord’s Prayer fill you with confidence: God protects, God delivers, and God wins.
