Matthew 6:10 — Jesus, Guide My Decisions and My Mind Today Live from London, England • Canada • Brazil • Kenya • Denmark decision pressure, overthinking, emotional clarity, morning direction, global devotional rhythm Matthew 6:10 (NIV): “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Proverbs 16:9 (NIV): “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Jesus, as the day moves forward and responsibilities begin to settle into place, my mind can easily become crowded with decisions, questions, and moments where I am unsure what direction to take. In this hour, Your prayer offers a steadying truth: Your will be done. These words gently remind me that I do not walk through my choices alone and that Your guidance is present even in the smallest detail. Lord, You see the plans I hold in my heart—the tasks waiting to be completed, conversations that may feel delicate, concerns about outcomes I cannot fully control. Your Word tells me that although I may plan my steps, it is You who lovingly establishes the way forward. This gives rest to the parts of me that feel the pull of pressure or the heaviness of uncertainty. Holy Spirit, quiet the noise of overthinking. Bring clarity where confusion tries to linger. Lift the weight that gathers when I feel responsible for holding everything together. Let Your peace shape my decisions so they come from a place of calm rather than fear. Let Your wisdom give light to my thoughts, guiding me toward what is healthy, steady, and life-giving. Jesus, guide my mind in every decision today. Guide my words where gentleness is needed. Guide my steps where courage is required. Guide my heart where peace must be restored. May Your presence be the calm beneath my thinking and the strength beneath my choices.
