TUESDAY 18 FEBRUARY 2026 — 12:00 A.M. From London to Chicago, Auckland, Sydney, Lagos, Toronto, Singapore, and Jerusalem, this midnight devotional reaches people across the world who are searching right now for “night fear prayer,” “Jesus help me sleep,” “intrusive thoughts at night,” “fear of the dark,” “Holy Spirit calm me,” “I am scared to be alone,” “Jesus protect my mind tonight.” Matthew 14:27 (NIV): “But Jesus immediately said to them: ‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’” Psalm 4:8 (NIV): “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Jesus, tonight I come to You with the fear that rises when the world becomes quiet. These fears mirror the very cries rising across the globe at this hour — night fear, Jesus help me sleep, Holy Spirit bring peace, intrusive thoughts at night, fear of tomorrow, prayer for protection, prayer for calm, Jesus quiet my mind, help me breathe again, cover me with Your presence, let peace fill the room. Jesus, speak into my night as You spoke over the storm — with authority, with compassion, with power. Let Your voice break the fear. Let Your presence fill the atmosphere. Holy Spirit, rest on me, settle my breathing, protect my mind, guard my thoughts, and surround me with the peace that only You can give. Where fear rises, bring courage. Where darkness presses in, bring light. Where anxiety tightens its grip, bring release. Where sleep will not come, bring rest. Where tomorrow feels threatening, remind me that You go before me. I declare that this night belongs to Jesus. Fear will not govern me. Anxiety will not dictate my rest. Darkness will not speak louder than Your presence. I sleep under the covering of the God who never leaves me, never fails me, and never stops speaking peace over my life.
