Luke 19:41–42 — Jesus, Bring Peace to Jerusalem and Strength to the People of Israel Jerusalem • London • New York • São Paulo • Seoul National tension, conflict fears, regional uncertainty, grief, protection, hope Luke 19:41–42 (NIV): “As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, ‘If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace…’” Psalm 122:6 (NIV): “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.’” Jesus, tonight we lift Israel and Jerusalem before You — the city where You walked, the land that carries the weight of Scripture, and the people who live every day with tension, uncertainty, fear, and longing for peace. Around the world, hearts are anxious about conflict, rising hostility, international pressure, sudden outbreaks of violence, grieving families, and communities shaken by instability. Many feel overwhelmed by the constant stream of news, worried for the innocent, praying for calm, fearful of escalation, longing for safety, and hoping for reconciliation that seems impossible without divine intervention. Jesus, You wept over Jerusalem — so we join Your compassion. Bring comfort to families who mourn. Protect children who are frightened. Strengthen communities living under strain. Guide leaders who face impossible decisions. Calm tensions at borders. Break cycles of retaliation. Shield those caught in crossfire. Heal trauma carried in minds and bodies. Restore hope where despair has grown. Let justice roll, mercy rise, and true peace take root — not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of Your healing and Your wisdom. Holy Spirit, move across Israel with supernatural peace, clarity, unity, repentance, reconciliation, and protection. Guard the vulnerable. Strengthen the weary. Uplift those who pray in secret. Surround the land with angelic covering. Let truth overcome deception. Let compassion overcome hatred. Yahweh, we pray for the peace that only You can give — deep, lasting, holy. Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace.
