Lamentations 3:22–23 — Jesus, Give Me New Strength and New Mercy for This New Day - London • Belfast • Edinburgh • Cardiff • Manchester morning strength, fresh start, emotional renewal, courage for the day, hope rising Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV): “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed… His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Isaiah 40:29 (NIV): “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Jesus, as this new morning begins, countless people across the world are waking with a weight already pressing on their chests. Many feel exhausted before the day even starts. Some face responsibilities they fear they cannot meet, emotions they do not know how to carry, conversations they have been dreading, and decisions they feel unprepared for. Others whisper quietly, Jesus, please help me begin again. You are the One who meets people at dawn with mercy that is brand new and strength that rises precisely where weakness lives. Holy Spirit, breathe gently into the minds that wake overwhelmed. Settle the thoughts that rush too quickly. Replace dread with steady courage, heaviness with renewal, and pressure with the assurance of Your presence. Let this morning not be shaped by yesterday’s failures or fears but by the mercy You have already poured out. Strengthen the person who feels unable. Restore the one who feels worn. Lift the one who feels forgotten. Start again within every heart that feels empty. Yahweh, God of unfailing compassion, walk beside those who must begin the day with difficult tasks. Hold close the ones who fear disappointment. Uplift those who feel they have nothing left to offer. Let the Lion of Judah roar over every discouraged soul, declaring courage where weakness once ruled. Remind each person that Your faithfulness does not depend on their strength but on Your love. Let Your promises rise like the sunrise—steady, certain, unstoppable. Jesus, take this morning and fill it with Your hope. Guide every step. Calm every fear. Renew every weary spirit. Let this be a day defined not by struggle, but by Your mercy and strength. United States, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Philippines, Brazil, India Jesus gives me new mercy, new strength, new courage, and new peace.
