Joshua 1:9 — Jesus, Strengthen My Heart as a New Day Begins - Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As we pray together across the globe throughout the day, stay connected, return often, and let us continue this journey of prayer together. Joshua 1:9 (NIV) says: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is our shepherd and He walks with us through every moment of life. As the early light of morning begins to rise across nations and cities, God’s presence goes before us into the day ahead. Lord Jesus, as this new day begins, we bring our plans, our responsibilities, and every unknown moment into Your hands. Strengthen our hearts so that we walk forward with courage and confidence. Where there is uncertainty, bring clarity. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is hesitation, bring strength. Let this new day begin with faith instead of worry and trust instead of fear. Help us remember that You are already present in every step we will take today. Jesús, fortalece nuestros corazones al comenzar este nuevo día. Jesus, fortalece os nossos corações enquanto este novo dia começa. Lord, bless every listener and lead us all forward in Your strength today. Thank You that Your presence goes before us and Your peace remains with us throughout the day.
