Joshua 1:9 — Jesus, Give Me Strength and Courage When Fear Tries to Take My Night From London to Warsaw, Berlin, Rome, Madrid, and Zurich, welcome to this midnight daily prayer devotional. As we step into the quiet hours, many hearts across Europe and the world wrestle with fear, overthinking, and the heaviness that arrives when everything slows down. Tonight we look to the God who meets us in the darkness and speaks courage into our trembling spirit. Joshua 1:9 (NIV): “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Isaiah 41:13 (NIV): “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Jesus, as this night settles over Europe, I lift every listener who feels the weight of fear pressing against their mind. You are the One who holds our hand in the darkest hour. Give courage where panic is rising, peace where anxiety is tightening its grip, confidence where doubt is whispering lies, and strength where weakness is trying to break through. Let Your presence enter every room, quiet every trembling thought, and remind us that we do not face this night alone. Lord, tonight I bring every long-tail prayer theme that Your people are searching for across the world: overcoming night fear, calming racing thoughts, anxiety relief before sleep, strength when I feel afraid, trusting God in the dark, Jesus stay with me tonight, peace when my mind will not settle, help when I fear the future, courage when I feel powerless, confidence when fear takes over. Meet every one of these cries with Your power. Jesus, breathe peace into my chest, rest into my mind, clarity into my emotions, and courage into every step I must take tomorrow. Let this night become a turning point where fear loses its voice and Your presence becomes my anchor.
