Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV): “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” As night draws near, Jesus, many around the world feel their thoughts becoming unsettled. In the quiet of the evening, distractions fall away and deeper concerns rise to the surface. Across India, families finish the last tasks of the day and seek peace before the night settles. In the United States, many reflect on what was accomplished and what remains unresolved. Among Portuguese-speaking believers, the words força and coragem move through the heart with gentle reassurance, reminding them that o Senhor está comigo in every late-evening moment. Let this prayer reach each one with calm strength. Joshua was called to courage because the journey ahead required steady focus. Tonight, steady our own minds. Fill us with the self-discipline that comes from Your Spirit, shaping our decisions and guiding our emotions toward clarity. Strengthen the places within us that feel tired from the day. For those facing uncertainty tomorrow, shine gentle reassurance into their hearts.
