SCRIPTURE (NIV) Joshua 1:7 — “Be strong and very courageous… do not turn from it to the right or to the left… Psalm 23:6 — “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life…” PRAYER Jesus, as Christchurch wakes into a new day — a city familiar with pressure, rebuilding, emotional fatigue, and the quiet heaviness that rises at dawn — I ask You to pour strength into every weary heart. You see the one who wakes already tired, the one dreading responsibilities, the one anxious about work, the one carrying silent pressure, the one overwhelmed before the day even begins, the one afraid of failing, the one unsure of their future, the one longing for peace, stability, direction, and courage. And You see the exact search cries rising across Christchurch at 5 a.m. — morning strength prayer, Jesus help me face today, prayer for resilience, I feel exhausted before the day starts, how do I cope today, prayer for courage this morning, Jesus guide my decisions, strength for responsibilities, morning anxiety prayer, I feel overwhelmed today, help me stay steady, prayer for clarity for the day, prayer for emotional resilience — and You answer them with Your promise: Be strong and very courageous… for My goodness will follow you today. Jesus, breathe strength into weak hands, clarity into confused minds, peace into anxious hearts, and courage into every person stepping into a demanding day. Let Your goodness follow them into workplaces, homes, conversations, decisions, pressures, deadlines, appointments, and unexpected moments. Anchor them so they will not bend to fear, fatigue, or discouragement. Give them grace for each task, wisdom for each choice, calm in every challenge, hope in every uncertainty, and resilience that rises from Your Spirit alone.
DECLARATION Today I will not fear my responsibilities. Jesus strengthens me, leads me, steadies me, and surrounds me with His goodness. I face this day with courage, clarity, and peace.
