SCRIPTURE (NIV) Joshua 1:7 — “Be strong and very courageous… do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” Psalm 23:6 — “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life…” PRAYER Jesus, as Christchurch wakes to a new day, many rise feeling tired, overwhelmed, anxious about responsibilities, or carrying the weight of yesterday’s worries. You see every weary mind, every stressed heart, every person wondering how they will cope today. And these perfectly mirror the long-tail searches rising across New Zealand at dawn — morning strength prayer, Jesus give me energy today, prayer for courage for the day ahead, I feel exhausted, new day anxiety prayer, how do I face today, prayer for emotional strength, I feel drained this morning, Jesus renew my spirit, help me start the day well. Jesus, renew my strength for the day You have given me. Fill me with courage where fear rises, energy where fatigue lingers, clarity where confusion tries to settle, peace where worry wants to take over. Let Your goodness and love follow me into every conversation, every responsibility, every step, every challenge, every unknown moment of this day. Watch over Christchurch — those waking early for work, those anxious about finances, those facing health battles, those carrying emotional weight, those rebuilding life, those needing fresh hope. Let this city feel Your strength, Your peace, Your guidance and Your unfailing love. DECLARATION Jesus strengthens me for this day; His goodness will follow me from morning to night.
