Joshua 1:7 — Jesus, Make Me Strong and Steady for the Day Ahead From London to Zurich, Madrid, Brussels, Stockholm, and Vienna, we gather at the first light of morning for this daily prayer devotional. This is the hour when responsibilities return, decisions stand waiting, and many across Europe whisper, “Jesus, give me the strength to face today.” Joshua 1:7 (NIV): “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law… do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.”
Psalm 143:8 (NIV): “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.” Jesus, I lift every weary heart, every tired mind, and every person who wakes today already feeling behind. Let Your unfailing love be the first voice they hear today.
