John 14:27 — Jesus, Fill My Heart With Peace as the Evening Comes - Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making Daily Prayer part of your life and part of your day. As we pray together across the globe throughout the day, stay connected, return often, and let us continue this journey of prayer together. John 14:27 (NIV) says: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Psalm 91 reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. As evening settles and the pace of the day begins to slow, God’s peace remains present for every heart that turns to Him. Lord Jesus, as this evening unfolds, we pause to bring the events of this day into Your presence. Where the day has been busy, bring calm. Where the mind feels restless, bring quietness. Where the heart feels troubled, bring Your peace. Help us release every worry, every pressure, and every unfinished concern into Your hands tonight. Let Your peace guard our hearts and settle our thoughts as the evening continues. Jesús, trae Tu paz a nuestros corazones y calma nuestras preocupaciones esta noche. Jesus, traz a Tua paz aos nossos corações e acalma as nossas preocupações nesta noite.
