You believe in God; believe also in me.” Psalm 34:4 (NIV): “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” Jesus, in this quiet moment, when the mind begins to wander and the heart feels unsettled, I turn gently toward You. I do not remain in fear—I come into Your peace. You are near. You speak softly into my heart: do not be troubled. So I release what is stirring within me. I do not hold onto every thought—I place each one into Your hands. You hear me. When I seek You, You answer. When I feel surrounded by fear, You bring calm and deliver me from it. So I slow down. I breathe more gently. I allow Your presence to settle over me. Jesus, quiet what I cannot quiet. Ease what I cannot ease. Bring peace where there has been unrest. I trust You.
