John 1:12 — Jesus, Remind Me Who I Am When I Feel Not Enough From London to Vancouver, Auckland, Cape Town, Singapore, and Berlin, this evening devotional speaks to every heart wrestling with self-doubt, identity confusion, emotional exhaustion, and the feeling of not being enough—calling us back to who Jesus says we are, not who fear tells us we are. John 1:12 (NIV): “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” Isaiah 43:1–2 (NIV): “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine… When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” Jesus, tonight I bring You every fear that whispers I’m not enough, every doubt that tells me I’m failing, every worry that I’m falling behind, every internal storm that pushes me into insecurity. Silence every lie that tells me I am weak, forgotten, or insignificant. Lift the weight of self-criticism. Break the patterns of comparison. Heal the wounds that shaped my insecurities. Restore confidence where it has been crushed. Let Your presence push back every shadow of doubt. Holy Spirit, breathe strength into the places where I feel small. Breathe clarity where confusion has settled. Breathe courage where fear is loud. Walk with me through the waters that feel too deep and through the fire that feels too hot. You said You would be with me, and I place my whole identity into the safety of Your hands. I declare that I am who Jesus says I am—chosen, called, protected, strengthened, and held. My identity is secured in Christ alone.
