Isaiah 43:2 — Jesus, Lift Me Above the Storm I’m Standing In Live from London, England — Spain • Malawi • New Zealand • Egypt • South Korea overwhelm prayer, life storms, emotional collapse, daily devotional, Jesus help me, spiritual stability Isaiah 43:2 (NIV): “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.” Matthew 14:31 (NIV): “Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ He said, ‘why did you doubt?’” Jesus, many today feel as if they are standing in the middle of a storm that refuses to quiet. Waves of pressure rise from every side: financial strain, strained relationships, exhaustion from responsibilities, and the fear that one more hit might be too much. Yet You, Jesus, walk into storms with authority. You step across the waves we fear, You take hold of trembling hands, and You lift us higher than the chaos beneath our feet. You remind every weary heart that storms do not define us and waters do not own us. You are present, powerful and unshaken. Holy Spirit, steady the inner world of every listener who feels close to sinking. Speak courage into the places where discouragement has been loud. Strengthen the mind that is tired from constant pressure. Let Your peace come like a supernatural life jacket, carrying them through moments they cannot carry themselves. Pour resilience into their spirit. Whisper, Keep going, I am with you. Replace fear with faith, doubt with clarity, heaviness with the strength that comes from heaven’s breath. Yahweh, You are the God who parts waters and brings Your people through. You are not distant from the overwhelmed. You defend the fragile. You hold up those who feel they are drowning in responsibilities, emotions, or memories. Let Your presence become a shield around their thoughts and a firm ground beneath their feet. Let the Lion of Judah roar courage over every person who feels surrounded by storms. Lift them, steady them and rebuild their confidence in You. DECLARATION: Jesus is lifting me above every storm. I will not sink.
