Hebrews 13:5–6 — Jesus, Be With Me When Tomorrow Feels Uncertain London • Belfast • Edinburgh • Cardiff • Manchester - fear of tomorrow, uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, Jesus help me, global anxiety Hebrews 13:5–6 (NIV): “God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.’” Psalm 46:1–2 (NIV): “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…” Jesus, tonight the world breathes heavily under the weight of what tomorrow may bring. People everywhere lie awake sensing uncertainty, feeling fragile, wrestling with thoughts they cannot quiet. Some fear decisions waiting in the morning. Some fear news they might receive. Some fear change. Others fear nothing specific yet feel overwhelmed by everything. Jesus, You meet people in the tension between today’s exhaustion and tomorrow’s unknown. You step into rooms thick with worry and declare, Do not be afraid — I am with you. Holy Spirit, settle upon every restless mind. Ease the discomfort that sits behind the ribs. Break the cycle of imagining the worst. Let Your gentle presence steady hearts that feel unanchored. Replace spiralling thoughts with clarity. Replace dread with expectation. Replace heaviness with breath. Let the night become a doorway into peace instead of panic. Surround each person with a calm that does not come from their circumstances but from Your nearness. Yahweh, faithful and unchanging, stretch Your covering across this night. The Lion of Judah roars strength over every trembling soul. Be the refuge for those who fear tomorrow. Be the comfort for those who fear disappointment. Be the strength for those who fear they will not cope. Let Your Word become a shield: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. Lift burdens that were never meant to be carried alone. Restore confidence where fear has drained courage. Jesus, hold this night steady. Let no fear outrun Your promise. Let no voice of anxiety be louder than Your truth. Let no uncertainty overshadow the reality that You go before us. As the world sleeps, You stand guard.United States, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Philippines, Brazil, India  As hearts fear the next step, You make a way. As minds wander, You anchor them in hope. Jesus is my helper, my peace, my certainty, and my confidence. I face tomorrow with courage because He goes before me. fear of tomorrow prayer, Jesus my helper, global anxiety prayer, Christian night devotional, hope for the future, peace before sleep
