Hebrews 13:3 — Remember Those in Chains: Strength for the Persecuted Church Hebrews 13:3 (NIV): “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them…” 2 Corinthians 4:9 (NIV): “Persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” From London to Seoul, from Cairo to Buenos Aires, from Lagos to Vancouver — this is the 9 A.M. FAITH UNDER FIRE global prayer. Across the world, believers in hostile regions are whispering prayers in secret, gathering underground, and holding onto faith under extreme pressure. Today global searches rise for “persecuted church,” “Christian suffering,” and “courage to stand,” and we stand with them in prayer. Prayer Father, we lift the persecuted, underground, and whispering church before You. Strengthen believers in North Korea, Somalia, Yemen, and Nigeria—nations facing violent hostility, surveillance, imprisonment, and daily danger. Cover pastors, families, and secret gatherings with supernatural protection. Give courage where fear rises, hope where darkness presses, and endurance where persecution burns hottest. Hide Your people under the shadow of Your wings. Break every plan of those who seek to destroy the church. Release food, shelter, medical help, and safe community. Fill believers with unshakeable peace. Let imprisoned Christians sense Your nearness. And let the gospel advance even in the hardest places. Lord, empower them with resilience, unity, and unbreakable faith in Jesus’ name.
