Hebrews 13:3 — Praying for the Persecuted Church Standing Firm Under Pressure From London to Lahore, from Abuja to Seoul, from Santiago to Nairobi — the world gathers to pray. Scripture (NIV Hebrews 13:3 — “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison…” 2 Corinthians 4:9 — “Persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” Across the world today, many believers suffer for their faith—under surveillance, hostility, imprisonment, or threats. Their courage inspires us, and their pain calls for our intercession. God strengthens those who stand in the shadows, and our prayers join them in their battle for endurance and hope. Prayer Father, we lift persecuted believers across the nations. Strengthen their spirits, shield their families, and hide them from danger. Let Your courage rise within them, Your protection surround them, and Your presence sustain them. Break the power of fear, overturn injustice, and push back every weapon formed against them. Give them boldness to endure, peace in the night, and certainty that they are not forgotten. Surround them with angelic protection and let the gospel advance even in hostile places. Uphold them with unshakeable hope in Jesus’ name.
