Sevilla FC and Crystal Palace FC brought out the fans and the city made a positive impression on the clubs.
Sevilla defeated CPFC 2-1 in sudden death penalty kicks, but both clubs came away positive about the friendly.
It shows sky is the limit on soccer in our area, as this match outdrew many Tigers games in recent years.
Fletcher and Norris discuss the importance of marketing individual players for sports, not just the crest.
Then, we turn our attention locally and get into some Detroit City FC talk.
- Vincenzo Candela parted ways with the club, as he was signed on as a top player from League 1 but found almost no minutes for Le Rouge.
- Fletcher was right about Dario Suarez, to the chagrin of many fans.
- Detroit drew with Oakland 1-1.
- And we look ahead and make playoff prediction chances as even with a better offense DCFC is very much on the bubble.
