ο»ΏTake a moment to close your eyes and inhale deeply, then exhale slowly while consciously releasing any stress or tension in your body.
Now, bring to mind a situation where you may have been hard on yourself, where you may have felt like you didn't do your best.
Imagine wrapping yourself in a warm and comforting embrace, and as you do, repeat to yourself: "I forgive myself for any mistakes or shortcomings. I am doing the best I can with what I have."
Allow yourself to feel the compassion and forgiveness that you would show to a friend.Β
Remember that you are worthy of love and kindness, including from yourself.Β
Take another deep breath, and imagine the feelings of compassion and forgiveness spreading throughout your body, filling you with a sense of peace and calm.
I am compassionate and forgiving towards myself.Β
