Why this book? Well, David selected "Olivia Helps with Christmas" due to its personal history, noting that Mike and wife, Kim, introduced his family to the Olivia series early in his eldest daughter's reading journey. It has become a cherished favorite of his family, consistently eliciting enjoyment even after many readings and establishing itself as a highlight among their collection of children's books. We talk about the Olivia's desire to Christmas be all it can be and how Mr. Falconer deals with the comedic timing in the pages. And again, we get into the style of the artwork and the humor found in skiing Gstaad.
