Show Notes
In this episode of the Cut To The Race Podcast, Oli, Abby, James and Sam discuss the World Destructors Championship, a tongue-in-cheek award given to the Formula 1 driver with the most crash damage costs at the end of the season.
We cover the drivers with the most crash damage costs in 2023, compare them to previous years, and discuss the drivers with the least crash damage.
We also discuss the cost implications of crash damage for teams. In Formula 1, teams are responsible for the cost of repairing their own cars. This can be a significant expense, especially for teams with limited budgets.
We also then focus in on Logan Sargent, who currently has the highest cost in crash damage for 2023 currently standing at $3.9m. We discuss what this means for him and his team, and what may happen to him in 2024.
