On this week’s Cut to the Race, Oli hosts the Singapore Grand Prix Race Review and is joined by Abby to tackle the weekend drama.
The weekend began with practice sessions that demonstrated Ferrari’s pace at Marina Bay and Red Bull’s struggles. Oli and Abby dissect practice before focusing on qualifying that saw Lance Stroll suffer a huge crash.
The duo then talk about Red Bull’s shock Q2 elimination as well as the a great Q3 session that saw a fierce battle for pole position.
The panel then discuss the Singapore Grand Prix that saw the end of Red Bull’s dominance as Carlos Sainz played an intelligent game taking the win. Oli and Abby chat about the opening laps, the safety car and VSC that we’re brought out as well as Mercedes’ brave gamble to pit twice.
They then go through the championship standings before giving their predictions for the Japanese Grand Prix next weekend.
