Sugar Loaf Property Transfer Completed For Conservation


• The Leelanau Conservancy has officially completed the ownership transfer of the 288-acre Sugar Loaf property in Leelanau County.

• The move secures the long-term protection of the former ski resort land and surrounding natural areas.

• Conservancy leaders say the focus now shifts to stewardship and future planning for how the property could be used for public recreation and conservation.
