The Feast of St. Peter Claver: Gospel of Luke, Chapter 6, verses 27-38
Who among us doesn't desire to be an icon of Christ? But are we willing to put our hand to the plow and not look back? Are we willing to dive deep within ourselves and live in a different way than those around us? Are we willing to transform our pains and anger instead of transmitting them? Today's Gospel is not for the weak of heart. It reminds us how high the bar is set for those who wish to follow Christ.
