Ridwan grew up in Abeokuta; a city in south-west Nigeria. He moved to Sokoto; a city in northern Nigeria after college. He talks about his experience travelling to Sokoto by train (a 36 hour journey) and how the trip broadened his understanding of other cultures within Nigeria
We also talk about the Nigerian education system, brain drain in the country and his journey applying to John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies as a foreign student.
