In this first part of this two-part series on the Hare Krishnas, Cultish Co-Host Jeremiah Roberts and Cultish Researcher (Super Sleuth) Andrew Soncrant are joined by Alexander Larson. Alexander was part of the Hare Krishna Cult for ten years before leaving and his story is one that needs to be heard, this testimony of grace is extremely relevent to the postmodern climate of today. Alexander begins his story by elaborating on the Vedic roots of the Hare Krishna movement and how by Swami Prabhupada brought this sect of Hinduism into the United States. After the foundation for the Hare Krishnas is laid, Alexander then explains how his colorful cultural upbringing in Utah led him to the Hare Krishnas.
