Pastor Tyler Anderson teaches from Acts 4:23–35, continuing the story of Peter and John healing a man lame from birth, preaching Jesus, and facing opposition from religious leaders. After their release, believers gather to pray with one voice, addressing God as “Sovereign Lord,” grounding their confidence in God’s control and in Scripture (Psalm 2), and recognizing even Jesus’ crucifixion as within God’s predestined plan. They ask for boldness to keep speaking the word, not for safety, and God answers by shaking the place, filling them again with the Holy Spirit, and empowering continued bold witness. The church also displays radical unity and generosity so there are no needy among them, exemplified by Barnabas’ giving. Anderson connects this to the church’s current season without a building, urges praying for boldness, and challenges listeners to invite someone to Easter.
