The Apostle Paul and his young companion Timothy had been through the wringer. They had been beaten, imprisoned, mocked, and warned to keep quiet. But instead of silence, they chose proclamation.
And not the kind of preaching that flatters men, or bends to public opinion — but the kind that speaks God’s Truth, even when it burns.
