- How to enable Wayland + Nvidia
- Edit the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file and comment out the line WaylandEnable=false
- Edit /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/61-gdm.rules and comment out the lines that disable wayland for nvidia. Note that this file gets overwritten by updates.
- kms-modifiers must be enabled through gsettings: gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features '["kms-modifiers"]'
- Reboot
- Will work with some tweaks to gnome
- Gaming performance is promising but not there yet
- Next step is to try out the 495 drivers
- Nvidia Optimus support coming
