The Meaning of Passover

This week marks the beginning of the Jewish Passover. The Israelites were under bondage and oppressed greatly under the heavy hand of Pharaoh. Under this oppression, God provided a remarkable deliverance that He wanted His people to never forget. But this matter of deliverance was not just from the hand of Pharaoh. It also pointed to a future deliverance through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.
