The Justice Department has allegedly issued a warning to Elon Musk’s America PAC. This is related to a petition the PAC has, which offers registered voters in swing states rewards for signing to support freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. The PAC petition says, “By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments.” Yet, since the petition offers monetary prizes for people to refer registered voters to sign, and offers a daily $1 million prize, some analysts have suggested that the petition equates to offering payments for people registering to vote. We’ll discuss this topic and others, in this episode of Crossroads.
