In 1996, Keli Lane gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Tegan. After she left the hospital, she showed up at home without a baby. When a subsequent pregnancy uncovered Tegan’s disappearance, the police initially thought it was a custody issue. But it eventually became a homicide investigation.
