First, 18-year-old Trinity Poague, named the 2023 Miss Donalsonville, was arrested in January 2024 for the murder of her boyfriend's son, an 18-month-old baby. Then, the 2005 Miss Houston County beauty queen, Lindsay Shiver, was arrested in July 2023 in the Bahamas regarding a murder-for-hire scheme, wherein she and her boyfriend conspired to murder her husband.
