On August 15, 1914, Mary Borthwick was brutally murdered at her home, along with her two children and four others. Julian Carlton, the man who murdered them, never gave a motive. He died seven weeks later, taking any possibility of learning what made him snap to the grave with him. Oh, and there’s a famous guy involved too.
