Last week on Crime Weekly News we talked about Bianca's Law, a law passed in New York that criminalizes the posting of photographs of victims of a crime on the internet. On July 14th, 2019, 17 year old Bianca Devins was murdered by 21 year old Brandon Andrew Clark, a man she had met on Instagram and was in some kind of relationship with. After committing the murder, Clark posted a photo of Bianca’s body on social media before slitting his own throat, and posting a picture of that as well. Clark then posted a photo of himself laying over Bianca’s lifeless body. A family in North Carolina is left devastated when masked men entered their home in the middle of the night and assaulted them, stealing items and a car from the home. On the late afternoon of December 3, 1998, Mark Jensen called 911 from his Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin home to report that his wife, 40-year-old Julie Jensen, was found dead in bed. In November of 2023, the Tucson police department responded to a home on East Limberlost Drive where they found an 11 year old boy who an autopsy would later reveal had died from sepsis.
