Her 11-year-old son, home alone after school couldn't find his mom. Michelle Parker disappears. The same day on “The People’s Court,” an episode featuring Parker and her ex-fiancee Dale Smith aired. It had been filmed months before. The episode involved a disagreement about a $5,000 engagement ring that was lost after Parker threw it at Smith during an argument.
