Maur though is on his last nominee opportunity, I compare him to a Chicago Cubs SS, roughly the same percentages, throughout their careers. Players like Lebron, didn't always have key players, especially in his youth. We even bring up the team stats of the Bulls when Jordan left for baseball, in how good they were. I look at impact of Bronny James in the league, why it's not fair for other players. The real story is Bronny may be setting himself for failure. At least Lebron, his father doesn't see the consequences of having his son in league where Bronny doesn't belong. The Detroit Tigers Win the "Wild Card Series" vs the Houston Astros. What is there to say about a team that had 0.2% chance of making the playoff in August. Prolly the 2nd greatest baseball player "Charlie Hustle". Why was this man banned from the baseball Hall of Fame? The answer was cleared because of lying about gambling but there is more to it. The history of baseball has excluded players from the league for taking money to fixed games. I think there is an relation to the 1919 scandal and the reason why Pete Rose has a lifetime ban to enter the Hall of Fame.There has been talk about Devante Adams wanting to be traded. One of the places he may go is to the Detroit Lions. I personally don't think that is in the best interest for the Lions. I give you my reasoning. On today's episode Ron my muscular dystrophy friend is back. We decided to chat about the challenges in life. One of the people we know is dying of cancer, his unwilling to deal with the "Will". The choices we make while we are young can make life easier, if we take care ourselves. Please go have yourself check up every year, to prevent illness.Moving on from our health concerns, time to talk about my new toy which is actually an old item. I bought a record player, amazing how everything turns into a full circle. I want to shout to the "Corner Record Store" in Granville Michigan, they are the folks who restore electrical audio systems to resell. Ron mention the bass, how I can make my sound better at home. It reminded me of the cars in 1990's that had car audio systems with a lot bass, Ron doesn't understand the importance of having that in my youth. How CBGB was important for punk rock in NY in the 1970's.Speaking of music venues, Ron and I rated the venues that support music in Grand Rapids MI. Most GR residents remember where the "Intersection" use to be in "Eastown." How about the "GLC" on Fulton. Prolly one of our favorite spots in GR, there's not a bad seat in my opinion and Ron with his wife seems to love it there. I love the "Pyramid Scheme." Welcome back to the show, lets gets started. Now that the Olympic is over I wanted to talk about the Women's soccer team. Winning the "Gold" medal was long time coming. I personally didn't know if the U.S. women soccer team had that dominance within them anymore. I break down the game vs Brazil. I personally think women's professional league in the "States" will take off. Especially for the support they receive among women and men. Grand Rapids Michigan will soon have a soccer stadium to support my theory.The "Queen of the Pool" Katy Ledecky won her 9th gold medal and her connection to Micheal Jordan. Moving on to basketball, the Women's basketball won 8 gold medals in row. That is the most among the Olympic record. Brittney Griner received her medal. Among her controversial comments about America and the disrespecting foreign laws, everyone deserves a 2nd chance.Is it time to stop disrespecting Lebron James, does it matter if he is not the greatest. Lately I don't care to compare him to Micheal Jordan. What Lebron has done in the last 20 yearts is something we may never see in this lifetime. Big contracts are on the menu along with rookie CB, lets be reasonable. Speaking of the Detroit, lets talk about the expectation of the rest of season for the TigersThe Olympics are going and their are fans who are not paying attention to the women's basketball team? Why, I could prolly say their fake fans, especially because Caitlin Clark is not playing on the team. Last but not least, those fans who still disrespecting the Men's Olympic team. Blaming Lebron James and comparing the dream Team to the 2024 team is a bit ridiculous. Chef Curry has the kitchen cooking!

Disability equipment is difficult to obtain and purchase. Ron gave me the insight of his new stair lift climber. The company that makes the stair lift, Acorn, is made in England. Ron goes into detail the cost of the stair lift and the person who installed it. What it amazes me is how lucky Ron is when he need of something to make his life more convenient. Ron is now able to go downstairs to work on his projects. We brought up other equipment that he purchased that did not work so well. Some equipment that Ron bought was attended for 2 people to move 1 person, clearly his wife was not able to move him down without taking a huge riskMoving on we discuss the different aspects of a persons disability, as of our disability. The different aspects of disability, can usually be thrown into 1. This is where we try to explain our disability and how it be frustrating to be taken seriously. I'm being down to earth to discuss my learning curve with my physical along with cognitive disabilities.I really hope this helps you learn what it means to be disabled. Those who struggle are not always being heard. This episode is dedicated to everyone who is still learning how to live with their disability. Is there ever a time and space to be exposed in this show, that is something I elaborate in this episode. I want to know if you agree with my opinion. I do think this attack on peoples faith "Christianity" and other beliefs.My next topic I spoke about the Prime Minister of Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the capitol in Washington D.C. What intrigued me about his speech was the threat of the Jewish people being wiped out, but isn't he doing the same thing to the Palestinians? Remember the Palestinians in the region are "Muslims" and Christians" What will this mean for this region if Donald Trump becomes the President Of The United States. I think the war will end in this region, also think the powers of the Israel State would be in a world of crisis.My last topic I talk about is about the challenges for Kamala Harris becoming the President of the United States. She has a lot challenges coming her way. Surprising there are a lot of minority people who will not vote for her, the question is why is she going to be challenged by these people.

Most of you may not know Ron doesn't follow politics, but today we had to explore the circumstance of why I think this was an WWE moment in politics. First of all, what a great actor (Trump) of knowing when to look to his right. In the moment of reacting to being shot. The bullet didn't seem to hit him as hard as I think it should of. That leads me to think the gun Thomas Matthew Crocks was not the only shooter. The American people should ask themselves, why did it look as though Trump smeared something on his ear (Red)Finally people are talking about "Secret Service" woman had a difficult time putting her gun back in the holster. It seemed to come out of a movie scene and last Trump being escorted to the SUV yelling "fight" over and over again.Do we have to mention the Secret Service missing their assignment of premises sounding the ex-President. I personally think the either it was an hoax or the C.I.A. missed their target (Trump) Let me know what you think of this assassination attempt. Over the weekend former President Trump was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania. There were 2 hurt and 1 dead, a father protecting his family. The question I would ask is what are the American people really feeling? Why aren't the people voting outside the Republican or Democratic Party. Regardless if you vote for Biden or Trump why are voting for 2 men who are clearly over the prime years. I brought up the abortion law that was overturned by Trump for the "States" to vote ya/Na. What does that mean? Let's go back ti the Ronald Reagan as the governor of California, where he eliminated that women no fault for a divorce.People in my opinion are more upset with government leaders like Biden and Trump getting away with crimes. Crimes that most of us would never be able to buy out the courts. For Thomas Matthew this jealously was real, a young man that prolly did everything correct. In reality it didn't get get him ahead in his life

Welcome back to the show, my friend Ron is here with me. We had a sit and chat about the difficulty of surviving in this era. Financially, Ron took a hit with less income coming into their household, I thought maybe for myself I would have to look for better employment. Rent is not becoming affordable, I'm in the process of working with Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS)People that lost their white collar jobs are now working at Chick-Fil-A, now Ron thought people were working there for extra cash. Not the case at all it has become their primary income. I tell you what college kids did around 10-15 years ago, lived in the same house with their friends and went on vacation together. For fun and giggles we mention a couple restaurants in the area that Ron and a couple of buddies went to eat and drink. A little moonshine can't hurt you.

I focus this episode on what I learned with dealing with my own mental state of mind. I embrace what happened to me in my youth, and give an logical theory. I struggle with being alone and sometimes think women really don't want me. I was taught the feeling of rejection and to except it. Not sure where to go from here, but I wanted to share my feeling and not use examples like Tiger Woods.Moving on lets talk about sports. Scottie Schefler wins again in a playoff hole. With a little distraction of protesters. Dechambeau goes on a rant of why he is not representing the United State in the Olympics. I'll give you my thoughts on this topic, be real Dechambeau, you think of yourself to highly to do the correct thing.The U.S.A. soccer team won their first match verse Bolivia. I can't say how impressed the Americans looked on the field. It really seemed they had a purpose to be the aggressor, in the match. The stats really show it. I talk about the Detroit Tigers and a little bit of the NBA, with the topic of JJ Redick as the new head coach of the Lakers. The last thing I had to bring up is the Detroit Pistons new GM, the firing of Monty Williams. Was it way too soon for the firing, I think so.

Could he be turning it around for the media and golf? Mcllroy made a match to be down by 3 and end up losing it, you couldn't write a script to he ending. This might be ridiculous, Tiger Woods, could be exempted to be allowed in the U.S. Open for life. Coming from that topic I wanted to mention the importance of our mental health. June is Men's Mental Health Month Awareness. I don't necessary feel sorry for Woods, I do think everyone struggles with life. I talk about that for men who not disabled as I am, struggle with mental health. This issue isn't isolation topic. It effects all of us. Does anyone care about the NBA Finals anymore? Since I'm a sports guy I have to care in what's going happen in this series. Let's go back in the memory lane of my childhood of the NBA met to me. The Detroit Bad Boys, Mike and the Chicago Bulls and you can't leave out Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. I reflect in how the game changed and the rivalry, that came along with it. Was that era better in the past or is just as good today? We have to talk about the past referees that changed the out look of the game, Tim Donaghy and Dick Bavetta. There is no way you could talk me out of this argument. I have my series pick of how the NBA Finals is going to go. The O/U of players, how many games this series will go and why.My last statement is comparing Caitlin Clark and Lebron James popularity is similar to each other. I have a deeper theory of why other WNBA players disrespect Caitlin. Probably because Caitlin doesn't have and street credit when it come to playing other players. She didn't earn her keep yet.

Having a a secure job, during your years of retiring is important. Businesses sell out or closed shop. For Ron its a bit different for someone who is on disability while his wife supports the family. One of Ron's friends is also going through some tough times, losing his job; fighting cancer. On the up beat of things on and I checked out a new breakfast spot Lucy on Plainfield. I would rate 4/5 stars. Great food nice customer service. I would recommend this place for a first date or a business meeting during the day. The restaurant has nice interior with seating outside to enjoy the weather, I'll let Ron tell you more.

In the past week the kicker of the KC Chiefs, Harrison Butler make a questionable comment about women in the workforce. Saying soon or later these college grad women will rather be housewives, rather than successful business person. Is he correct or a little out of touch of reality? There is a professional LPGA Tour golfer, Lexi Thompson who is retiring from golf to spend more time with family and her spouse. There is more to her struggle as an professional athleteUnfortunately the golf world lost one of their members to suicide. May God bless the family of Greyson Murray, no one should ever feel their not good enough. I to struggle with feeling doubt when I'm in the world trying to make a difference.The great career of Bill Walton, has left us in this world. What an amazing man who lived in life. I wanted to reach out to everyone that severed in the military that died. Of course to the family of the loved ones who died during battle. On this episode I looked at the numbers of soldiers that died in battle and non battle. I personally wanted to remind people of how many in our country helped to make this country great. There is an error of the amount Americans died in World War I. The total amount was meant to be everyone involved in the war.I also go through a couple of agencies that help veterans and their families who come after battles. I had a couple stories that I found on the internet, that I wanted to share.The first story was about a orangutan ape that learned how to clean its womb. The name of the "Orangutan" is Rakus. The research team Suaq Blimbing Research, they have done research work since the 1990's. What is fascinating is the plant it used it is known to have healing ingredients, that humans use in medicine. The plant is called (Fibraurea Tinctoria) The second topic Ron and I chatted about it's about an disabled person John McFall mission to go into space. He is a former bronze winner of the Paralympic in the 2008 Olympics and he quit his day job as an orthopedic surgeon. I guess there is hope for people with disability to achieve unbelievable goals.Speaking of goals, I now joined an golf league. Never thought I would do such a thing because I believed people wouldn't be patience. Thinking back now I am thankful for my golf partner askin g me to play in the league.
