Bobby Kennedy, the sitting senator, former attorney general, and younger brother of president also gunned down just five years earlier was running for president when a man stepped out of the shadows and emptied his 8 shot revolver into a crowd. When the dust settled Kennedy was dead, 5 people were injured, and the gunman confessed to the crime. It would seem this was an open and shut case. However, it quickly became apparent that the shooting was part of a much larger conspiracy.
