Richard Chew is joined by DeMareo Cooper, co-executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy, who characterized members of the Republican Party as "confederates" who use racism and xenophobia to exploit working people. "These are people who are not interested in government," Cooper told WCPT. "They're not interested in debate and will do anything they can to continue to take the American people's wealth and resources in order to enrich their friends and themselves."
