Have you ever thought, ‘My life just isn’t turning out the way I expected it to?’ That was Naomi's perspective when she asked that she be called Mara ("Bitter") rather than Naomi (cheerful). Yet, God was at work through it all. The book of Ruth is about redemption and teaches us about God's overarching plan throughout history and by application in our lives as well. This message was preached by Pastor Jim Newheiser on November 20, 2022.
