The Lord’s prayer is all about asking and it is a school to teach us about what we should desire. What should we ask for? That God’s name should be honored; that His kingdom will come. We should ask for our daily needs—acknowledging our total dependence on Him for everything. We should seek forgiveness personally and as a community, and pray that we might be kept from falling into sin. How should we pray? Shamelessly. Continually. Our prayers never bother our Father in heaven. This message was preached by Pastor Erick Cobb on July 13, 2025.
