When we suffer we're tempted to two common misinterpretations— either: 1.) "God is punishing me" —or— 2.) "God has abandoned me." These two responses show that our default way of thinking has more in common with Karma than the Gospel. Peter presents an alternate explanation for our suffering, one that gives us cause to respond to suffering with joy and worship. This message was preached by Pastor Erick Cobb on March 24, 2019.
