WHITE SHEEP OF THE FAMILY: Couples therapy & relationship experts, Dr Ray & Jean talk about their concept of the "white sheep of the family" and how that role corresponds with Murray Bowen's theory of Differentiation. Each generation "levels up" from the previous one, however doesn't differentiate very much, except for outliers, or the white sheep of the family. This member of the family often grows far beyond their family in many different areas of life whether it is career, education, financial success, emotional or intellectual intelligence.
