Socrates was considered the antithesis of the Sophists in his day. Now more than ever, we are bombarded by Sophistry on a weekly, daily even hour by hour basis. What has happened to well reasoned arguments and logic in todays political environment? We discuss that and relate it to two different articles. One on the fallacies of the gun control argument and the other on the leftist hatred for free speech today.
