This week USF’s Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, Doug Petersen, shares what makes the culture at USF so special and why he has stayed with the program here for 9 years. Doug talks about the accomplishments of the 2023 indoor season as well as the goals and expectations for the 2023 outdoor season. In this episode we hear about some of the standout events and athletes that the team has and what they add to the program. Doug shares to his current and future athletes that, “USF is not just about competing, but about the great relationships, academics and opportunities there are to take advantage of here.” Listen to this week’s episode to hear more about Doug and the successful program he has established.
